Captain Eugene’s love for fishing started early. Raised near the water, he spent countless hours fishing with his father and grandfather, sparking a lifelong passion for the sport. As he honed his skills over the years, his interest in offshore fishing grew, leading him to pursue a captain’s license. In his 20s and 30s, he competed as a dedicated offshore tournament angler, taking on challenging waters and chasing massive Tuna. His experiences on the competitive circuit helped him refine his techniques and develop a deep understanding of the ocean’s rhythms.

Now a full-time professional guide, Captain Eugene takes pride in introducing anglers to the thrill of fishing. Whether he’s guiding first-timers or seasoned pros, he’s committed to creating an exciting, educational, and memorable experience on the water. His charters are more than just fishing trips—they’re opportunities to learn, improve, and most importantly, enjoy time on the water.

Our Boat: Step aboard Captain Eugene’s 33’ Bertram offshore sport fishing boat, designed for comfort, performance, and serious fishing. This vessel can accommodate up to six anglers and is powered by twin 630 HP Yanmar engines, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride. The boat is equipped with top-tier marine electronics, safety gear, and features such as a flybridge, outriggers, live bait well, ice box, and even a small kitchen and sleeping area.
